Number Theory Seminar 2:00 PM Online (Zoom) Heights of totally real algebraic numbers Paul Fili, Oklahoma State University Contact John Doyle (email@example.com) for the Zoom link
Abstract: I will give an introduction in this talk to some questions about totally real numbers (both algebraic integers and non-integers) of small height, focusing on why this question is interesting, what is known, and what are the open problems. If time allows, I will present one new extension of a known result which appears to be (somewhat surprisingly) new. Add seminars to your own calendar (by an ical link).
