Abstract: The free resolutions of an ideal $I$ provide abundant information about the algebraic nature of the ideal $I$. However, they are very difficult to determine. In this talk, we will discuss how techniques from algebraic combinatorics can be used to understand the free resolutions of some classes of ideals.
