Combinatorial and Commutative Algebra Seminar Computing Generalized Frobenius Powers for Monomial Ideals Jeff Mermin, OSU AMS practice talk Abstract: We compute the fractional Frobenius powers of a monomial ideal. Generalized versions of elementary long division and of the Sierpinski gasket appear as tools.
