Abstract: In this talk we will recall the fundamentals of the Koszul property and strongly stable ideals, followed by an overview of the results regarding the Koszul property for Rees and multi-Rees algebras of strongly stable ideals. The talk will present multiple examples, and results, involving techniques to describe the defining ideals of Rees and multi-Rees algebras of strongly stable ideals.
