Abstract: Andy has kindly offered to give a pre-talk for graduate students. He plans to introduce: notation and basic calculations that are important in the $L^2$ theory; integration by parts, vector fields, differential forms; the closed range estimate for $\overline{\partial}$ on (0,1)-forms on pseudoconvex domains, and (time permitting) the contrast with what happens when you run the same argument with d instead of d-bar and why that makes complex analysis so different than real analysis.
