Subject: 75th Anniversary Meeting of MAA-OK-AR Section

The 75th Anniversary Meeting of our MAA Section is being held on the OSU
Campus, April 5-6 with Project Next and student competitions starting on
Thursday, April 4. Dale has done a terrific job of building the local
web site and setting up very convenient on-line registration through OSU
Market Place. I encourage all to go to
http://www.math.okstate.edu/75th_maa_meeting
and check out the web site and the events at the meeting. Historically,
OSU has played a very big part in our MAA Section. I would like for our
faculty and students to consider making a presentation at the meeting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to show our department/program to the
Section and recruit graduate students from the participating
Colleges/Universities.
The local organizing committee is: ( Aichele, Alspach, Choike, Downing,
Hadley, Jaco (co-chair), Mantini (co-chair), and Andrew Noel
(co-chair)). If you have any questions, please see a member of the
Committee or me.
