[Banach] Abstract of a paper by V. Kanellopoulos and K. Tyros

This is an announcement for the paper "A discretized approach to W.T. Gowers' game" by V. Kanellopoulos and K. Tyros.

Abstract: We give an alternative proof of W.T. Gowers' theorem on block bases in Banach spaces by reducing it to a discrete analogue on specific countable nets.
