Announcing an Informal Analysis Seminar focusing on Universality Friday afternoon, April 11, 2014 through early Sunday afternoon, April 13, 2014
This meeting has received generous funding from Elsevier, with additional support from Kent State University. This meeting should be especially attractive to non-specialists, and in particular to students and new PhD's. The reason is that the Friday afternoon session is being devoted to three expository talks, aimed at a non- specialist audience, on Universality by three excellent speakers: Paul Gauthier (Montreal), Pamela Gorkin (Bucknell), and Vassili Nestoridis (Athens).
Our speakers on Saturday and Sunday will be Juan Bès, Kit Chan, Paul Gauthier, Pamela Gorkin, Manuel Maestre, Myrto Manolaki, Vassili Nestoridis, and Rebecca Sanders.
Also, there is a reasonable possibility of (very) partial support for students and junior participants.
Registration is free, but we ask intending participants to let us know of their interest. For further information, please consult:
