This is an announcement for the paper "Norm closed operator ideals in Lorentz sequence spaces" by Anna Kaminska, Alexey I. Popov, Eugeniu Spinu, Adi Tcaciuc, and Vladimir G. Troitsky.
Abstract: In this paper, we study the structure of closed algebraic ideals in the algebra of operators acting on a Lorentz sequence space.
