Dear math coordinators,
I recently learned that this year's OSU Math Day had been scheduled for a
day that almost every school in Oklahoma is using for fall break.
I apologize for the error, and thank those of you that brought it to my
attention.
We want as many students as possible to be able to participate in this
event, so we have rescheduled the Math Day for Monday, April 13, 2020.
This was the best we could do once we became aware of the error; we hope to
see many of your students in April.
The new date is now reflected on the Math Day website,
http://math.okstate.edu/people/mermin/hsc/
and there should be an announcement soon in the mail.
As in previous years, the day will consist of an individual competition,
followed by a low-intensity team round and several public lectures by OSU
faculty that we hope will be of broad interest.
Once again, I apologize for the error.
Sincerely,
Jeff Mermin
