The Mathematics Department has scholarships available for freshmen
through seniors. These are available to students who have declared
either a first or second major in mathematics. (Any mathematics advisor
can assist you in declaring a mathematics major.) A
graduation/retention GPA of 3.25 and a math GPA of 3.5 is required.
Complete the attached application form and return it to the Department
of Mathematics MSCS 401 by March 1, 2010.
Mathematics education majors should be aware that if they complete the
requirements for a SCED degree with the mathematics option, then they
will have completed all requirements necessary for a second major in
mathematics. All that is required is to declare mathematics as a second
major. No additional course work is needed.
I will be happy to assist you if you have questions.
