Friday, Nov. 5th, from 4:00-5:00 PM, the Math Dept welcomes Professor Mara Alagic of Wichita State University who will speak in MSCS 101 on

Mathematics and the Arts: Bridges Reflections.

This talk, suitable for a general audience, will take us through a gallery of bridges between mathematics and the arts based on 12 years of Bridges conferences, the speaker's experience as an editor of the Journal of Mathematics and the Arts, and her own contributions. All are welcome.
