Hi!
It's been a while since we've had a Math Club meeting, so don't think that I've forgotten about you ;) Our next meeting is going to be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 5pm in MSCS 514. We will be having cake to commemorate our graduating seniors, our new freshman and we will be inducting the new Pi Mu Epsilon members! All graduating Math seniors get a free t-shirt!
The plan is to have elections and play a round of Math Jeopardy! The positions are: President - Plans and prepares meetings, delegates duties to other executives, announces news at meetings Vice-President - Assists President in all presidential duties Treasurer - Financial duties, attends meetings with President, balances finances, takes care of memberships Secretary - Keeps track of emailing members, updates the Math Club list, hangs flyers
We'll talk more about this at the meeting, but ALL EXECUTIVES MUST TO BE PI MU EPSILON MEMBERS. This means that you have to pay a $25 (one-time fee, for life), have completed Calc I, Calc II, and 6 hours with Calc II as a prerequisite.
If you have questions, let me know! I'm really sorry this is so long!
Tyler R. Eckert Math President
Correction: the meeting will take place in MSCS 101 at 5pm.
Sorry! Tyler
