We have a vacancy in the Vaughn Professorship in Number Theory since
Anthony Kable decided not to continue in this position. Professor Rob
Burnap, Vaughn O. Vennerberg Chair of Bioinformatics and Molecular
Genetics, is the outside chair of the search committee, which consists
of Professor Burnap and our Personnel Committee.
I have attached their call for applications from full Professors in
our department and the document on the Professorship that the
Department approved in 2003. The deadline for applications is January
