Some faculty members in CS are writing an NSF MRI grant for a "GPU center" with the incoming Director of the High Performance Computing facility on campus. They wrote yesterday and asked to know by today whether anyone in our department would find such a center useful in their research, and if so, what they would use it for. Please let me know if this is something that you would use.
