Dear colleagues,
The College asked me to forward this information about the Simons grants. The deadline is approaching soon; please note that the College needs to hear from those applying by Monday at the very latest.
I am happy to help with the application process, and I have samples of successful Simons applications that I can share with any of our faculty members who would like to see them. These are really useful grants and have a relatively painless application process, particularly compared to NSF. I am hoping at least that all eligible early- and mid-career faculty members will apply.
Best wishes, Chris

Please forward to those in your department who might be interested .....
Simons Foundation Collaboration Grants for Mathematicians .....
The deadline for the next round of proposals to the Simons Foundation Collaboration Grants for Mathematicians Program is January 31, 2019. Please let me know by Monday, January 14th, if you plan to submit a Simons Foundation Collaborative Grant Proposal so we can put you on our calendar.
The Simons Foundation’s Mathematics and Physical Sciences division invites applications for Collaboration Grants for Mathematicians to stimulate collaboration in the field primarily through the funding of travel and related expenditures. The goal of the program is to substantially increase collaborative contacts between accomplished, active mathematicians in the United States, who do not otherwise have access to funding that allows support for travel and visitors.
Here is a link to the funding opportunity:

Applications must be submitted through Proposal Central. All proposals must be fully routed.
Thank you!
Tory
