Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Department and College, I am happy to announce the first competition for the Oklahoma State University Holistic Science Prize, made possible by a generous donation from Professor Emeritus Hermann Burchard. This prize recognizes multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and holistic academic research in the College of Arts and Sciences. Up to two awards will be given each year, $3,000 for a doctoral student and $5,000 for a tenure-track/tenured faculty member.

Please see the attached document for a summary of information about the prize, including criteria and submission guidelines. Submissions should be sent electronically to me in PDF format, and I will pass them along to Professor Igor Pritsker, who has kindly agreed to serve as the chair of the Award Committee. This year's deadline is Friday, March 15, 2019.
