Dear Faculty,

We have now (nearly) completed our interview with Jiri Lebl, the last of the interviews for a tenure track position. Please send me your comments on the candidates we have interviewed, especially the most recent two (Lebl and David Jensen). The appointments committee will meet on Wednesday afternoon to decide on a recommendation to Bus with regard to offers.

Update: Oded Yacobi has declined our offer in favor of Sydney University. An offer was made to Walter Rusin; the offer was accepted (with enthusiasm) almost immediately.
