Dear Faculty,

We have recently completed interviews with Elena Pavelescu and Jay Schweig for our tenure track positions. The appointments committee would like to hear your comments on these candidates.

Update: Bus has made an offer to Oded Yacobi. Oded has had a few other interviews and will likely have another offer(s); he will make a decision in about two weeks.

Tomorrow we will interview Sergiy Borodachov. He works on analysis and approximation theory.

On Monday (1/11) we will interview Walter Rusin. The itinerary for his visit is similar to the others. Walter's area of research is PDE.
