Redbud conference dates

As I mentioned at the seminar this afternoon, the folks at OU and UArk are staring to think about dates for the Fall and Spring Redbud conferences. The dates suggested for the Fall conference at OU are 10/6, 10/13 or 11/3. The last date is the Saturday after Dale Rolfsen's visit, so we'll probably have to veto that one. The proposed date for the Spring conference at UArk is March 9-10. If you would like to attend one or both conferences and have a conflict with one of these dates, please let me know by Monday, so I can let the organizers know. Jesse

Topology Seminar Organizational Meeting

Dear OSU Topologists and Friends of Topology, We now have a mailing list (mdtop(a)math.okstate.edu) for the topology seminar and you are getting this e-mail because you're on the list. (The commutative algebraists are on here at Chris' request.) We will have an organizational meeting this Thursday at 3:30 in room 514 to discuss the schedule of talks for both the Fall and Spring semesters. I look forward to seeing you there. Jesse
