I will not be back by Thursday; however, I just wrote to Danielle/Henry about organizing something. As I mentioned to them, it would be nice (for me) if we could get things lined up pretty far out so I can then avoid conflicts with my calendar. You do not need to wait for me to get back to organize; however, I would like a couple of consecutive times in Nov or Dec to talk about some of my recent work.

Personally I'm interested in some recent work by Rob Kirby and David Gay (and related work by Alex Zupan and others) about trisections of 4-manifolds, as it relates the theory of Heegaard splittings to 4-manifold topology in an interesting new way.
