Bus Jaco will speak on "Inflations of ideal triangulations" at 3:30pm in MSCS 422.
Abstract:
We will demonstrate the construction of inflations of an ideal triangulation of the interior of a compact three manifold via examples. Several applications of inflations to constructions of efficient triangulations and Dehn fillings will be given.
