Hello Topologists and Friends of Topology, We are happy to have two visitors this week. On Thursday (3:30 in MSCS 514) we will have Tye Lidman from University of Texas, Austin, speaking on Homology three-spheres and surgery obstructions. On Friday (3:30 in MSCS 514) we will have Jessica Banks from UQAM speaking on Seifert surfaces and point-pushing.
