For everyone who's interested, we will be having a topology reading seminar on Thursdays, 11:00-12:00 in room 405.  The paper is Kirby and Gay's "Trisections of 4-manifolds" which I've attached.   The proof of their main result relies heavily on the use of Morse 2 functions, which are interesting in their own way. I've attached their paper on Morse 2-functions as well for anyone who's interested, although you don't need to know anything about them to understand the results of "Trisections..."  I'll give the first presentation next week.
