In this section an attempt is made to describe some of the many diverse interests of the faculty in the Department of Mathematics at Oklahoma State University. A list is given of the faculty with their degrees and institutions where these degrees were granted. Following this list is a breakdown of the research programs into several areas. Such a classification is difficult to make as many faculty have interests in many areas. However, the information should give a feel for some of the work that is being conducted by department faculty.
