Minutes for Meeting of the Graduate Committee November 18, 1997

Issues discussed:

• Updated revision of the MS applied option was approved and returned to the Task Force.
• OSU Graduate Study in Mathematics Weekend, a k a Mathfest
  Some suggestions for speakers were given and a format similar to last year's was discussed. Alspach will begin soliciting speakers. Holding most of the activities in Mathematical Sciences was recommended due to the construction near South Murray and the thought that more faculty and graduate students would be around for informal contacts.
