To receive a Graduate Minor in Mathematics a student must have completed
Math 2145, 2155, 2233, and 3013, or their equivalents, either at Oklahoma
State University or elsewhere. In addition,
- a Master's student must take 12 credit hours in mathematics courses
numbered 4000 or above, of which at least 9 credit hours must be completed
as a graduate student at Oklahoma
State University;
- a Ph.D. student must take 18 credit hours in mathematics courses
numbered 4000 or above, of which at least 15 credit hours must be completed
as a graduate student at Oklahoma State University
and at least 6 of those must be in courses numbered 5000 and above.
A list of courses to be used for the minor must be submitted to the
Graduate Committee of the Department of Mathematics for approval. No course
with grade below C can be used as part of a minor and the grade
point average for all coursework constituting the minor must be at least 3.0.
There is no minor for Ed.D. students.
